Question, To explain the critics of human relation theory and its utility in the educational context




Utility of human relation theory in the educational context are explained as follows
·         Human relation theory  determine  needs for  effective  human  relations  and  effective  communication  in primary  school
·         Human  relation  theory  provide  appropriate  training  and  induction for new  employees  as  well  as  coaching  for  all in order to  develop skills ,confidence  and  self  -reliance
·         Relate  staff  rapport  with their  working  morale  to  ensure  accomplishment  of  primary  school  goals  and  objectives
·         Project  a  corporate  identity  and  promote  good  staff  (teaching an  non- teaching  students  and  head  teaches  relations in primary  schools  
·         Promote  mutual  respect  and  good primary  schools  climate
·         Prevent conflicts  among  staff in the primary  school
·         Putting place  succession planning for the  team and  manager  roles to  ensure long  term  performance
Criticisms of human relations theories in the educational context are as follows
·         Human relations  theory  implemented  as  technique for  manipulating  people  to  comply  with  management  to  an  understanding  of human  nature  and  there  by  creating  the desirable  changes  in the  organization.
·         Human relations  is  also  criticized  for  overemphasizing   human  needs  at the  expense of  need for  accomplishment  or  responsibility or for  organizational task and process
·         The effect of  human  reactions  theories  did  not  result in  the  demise  of the  numerous  applications of classical  theory
·         Human  relations  theories  idea posed  certain  dilemmas  without  solutions  offered 
·         It  lack scientific  validity
·         Behavior of the  workers  was not  natural .It was  actually  the  haw throne  effect  which  give  their  best  when  observed
·         It give little  attention the  formal  relation while  putting  greater  reemphasis  on the  informal  relations  
·         This  theory is not  aware  of the  economic  dimension and  neglected the nature of  work 
·         It could   not  explore  the mult dimensional phenomenon of  human motivation
·         It is over  -concern   with  happiness
·         It  does not  recognize the conflict  as a  creative  force
·         It  ignored  the environmental  factors  of  workers attitudes
