Technology
is an application of scientific knowledge in practices. Education Psychology is
the process whereby technology is applied in facilitating learning process by
using machines like videos, Television,
video Tape, visual Audio,Audio,Cameras,Pictures and others devices. The new
technologies and human development intended to prepare learners to design and
evaluate new technology young learners to participate and direct to implementation
of programs aimed at using new technologies is to foster learners’personal,
social,emotional,sipiritual,linguistic and intellectual development to acquire
technical skills and theoretical knowledge that will contribute to their
development or researcher or practitioners in this emerged field. This
concentration means new technologies and human development and prepares the
learners for caring high education, research and applies setting.
In Education Technology
the effective learning and teaching have to involve technologies which had to
fit with the stages of human development that based in cognition as the mental process.
A psychologists Jean Piaget,have analyzed four stages of human cognition, means
the mental process which are the Sensory Motor stage,Pre-operational stages,
Concrete stage and Formal stages. Also the other Psychologist Jean Sinnoth
added another stage for the development of human being that is The Adult stage
or Adult mental cognition stage simply so called Post Formal Thinking stage.
The intergration of
Videos that contain songs for Drilling, and Stray pictures have been related to
the children worth age of (0-2 years) the stage of human being in the human
development in cognition because in this stage a child learn through Observing
and imitating from what they see and what they listen by using this Technology
the Teacher will success to make the interest of the students or learners.
The use of the
Streaming Videos, Photo cameras, will enable the Teacher to make the Interest
of the learners to the subject or lesson. By using this Technology in Education
go Perpendicularly to the human development, by considering the stage of
cognition is actually the age of( 3-5 years),at this stage it characterized
with the great expansion of symbolic, as a Teacher have to think this stage and
much worth the Technologies.
Also Radio cassette
that comprises of Speakers, Using the library Videos that have to be related to
what you teach your learners. This technology have to be used in the children
or learners with the age of 7-10 years which is known as concrete stage that a
learner is characterized by understanding the spatial and focus on attributing
various object simultaneous. So as Teacher can use these Technologies in
teaching the learners belonging to this stage due to their characteristics of
cognition of their mental.
The use of computer for
searching materials in different websites and the use of Phones to many
Programs like the Internet have been developed at the age of 11-14 years ,as
the stage of Formal operational stage (adolescences) by Jean Piaget. The integration
of hardware and software have related to
the stage(critical thinking) this is because children at this stage are able to
use these Technologies in his or her own way as Adult do. The integration of
Computer in his or her software the Teacher will encourage the learners to perform
in their own ways. Also the intention of the teacher is make the learners to be
aware and be active in the learning process.
The use of hardware and
software Technologies in Education. A Teacher have to use these technologies to
the age that is characterized by the critical thinking, Paradox thinking and to the learners who have knowledge
about the multiple causality and multiple solution. The use of these
Technologies enabled the Teacher and learners to understand the problem (disconnection)
to the websites as much as possible. Example when the Teacher integrates the
software and the problem occurred the learner will change and search another thing
other search engine.
